Thanks for exploring this series of work called Collagraphs. What is a Collagraph? A Collagraph is artwork done by gluing a dimensional element onto a board; after that surface is sealed with a solvent the board or artwork is inked, painted and wiped to leave recess paint on the final artwork. As a mixed media artist, I instinctively began using my landscape photography as the base image and inspiration for the carved layering of figures and lastly painting acrylic layers over my images to create a new Collagraph artwork as you see it..

Mixed media artworks include all artworks using my own original drawings, photography, prints, paintings, and/or collagraphs etc., as a base with additional media such as fabrics, papers, acrylic paints, encaustic wax, pastels, shellacs. Everything is incorporated into a new mixed media artwork.
My creative energy often begins on location from behind the camera. Exploring the natural landscape excites me.
My artwork career includes producing several commissions for private and public sectors alike. These artworks are something in which I have had the pleasure of doing since 2000. I have included the most relevant pieces from my experiences; I have completed over seven inspirational murals and artwork for churches and three projects for historical content for museums and or private individuals.
